You probably won't have enough artifacts for a meaningfull use of her second ability and she'll probably never see her ultimate. She cost 4 mana and when you play her early you can make a single 1/1 token. This is not to say that you shouldn't play her, if you like her definitely go for it! But planeswalker generally tend to underperform in edh as they are easily removed and Saheeli lacks impact. Personally I am not a big fan of Saheeli as a commander. You are running a lot of artifacts that are a little janky and do little on their own other than drawing you cards, which is not a bad thing, but if you want to power up your deck I'd again run Jhoira over Saheeli to keep the card advantage but replace some of those artifacts with better cards (perhabs some stax pieces if your playgroup is fine with it, maybe some defensive artifacts like ] or similiar). For example, you do run a lot of cards dedicated to create token creatures, but on the other side you are running things like Silent Arbiter, who denies your usage of these creatures to attack, or retract/hurkyl's recall/rebuild which all destroy your tokens. It feels like your decks is trying to do multiple things and some of those may get in the way of each other. I do not know the decks you play against and how strong your meta actually is (because if they do play high powered decks I wouldn't worry too much, if they're more on the mid power side Jhoira could become oppressive really fast). I totally get your point about worring Jhoira puts a big target on your head. There are a few cards that create tokens that feel a little lackluster because you are not really focused on creating tokens) You go in 3 different directions and none of them are very stable (going for a lab man kind of win seems too slow in your deck as a dedicated wincon, Aetherflux is good in artifact storm but without Jhoira as your commander it feels too inconsistent because you need to constantly get new artifacts to cast. You have a nice low average CMC and artifact storm is a solid gameplan but by not choosing Jhoira as your commander you lose a lot of speed.Īdditionally, Izzet is known for lacking wincons and what you've got here seems a bit inconsistent. So our definitions for power level may vary but I don't quite get your point about not choosing Jhoira because you want the deck to be more casual and yet you want it to be a "7-8".Ī 7 can be decently strong and an 8 is high powered in my book and your deck, while it looks like a super fun casual deck, doesn't seem to hold up at higher powered tables.Īs your deck is right now I'd call it a strong 6. Just took a quick look over your deck, can take a closer look later if you'd like.
